Wander Off Inc. is thrilled to release its namesake, an adventure travel app designed to be your favorite travel application. In this article, we will discuss why we created this app and what functionality is in development.
Wander Off App: Creation Story
We originally created this app because our team has a passion and love for travel. We realized that there are entire trips that we have no recollection of at all. We spend a significant amount of time planning and a lot of money to make our trips special, we want to continue to enjoy them in the future. This was the beginning, we have added so much functionality to make travel more fun and enjoyable, while preserving your travel memories. It is more than just a travel app; it’s an adventure travel copilot for the intrepid souls who seek the joy of discovery.

Features & Versions Release
At its core, Wander Off was created to organize, preserve, and share your travel memories; however, it has become so much more. While we are early in development, we want our friends that are a part of ATTA to have early dibs on their choice of a screenname for Wander Off.
Wander Off is being released in several iterations using agile development. Version 1 (the MVP) is live on the app store and Google play and it covers most of the core functionality. It is a special place to preserve your travel memories, but there is much more organizational functionality in development to be released in upcoming versions.
The next substantial release will be Version 2, being released late fall to early winter 2023. Version 2 allows you to collaborate with friends on the same trip. You and your travel companions can all collaborate to upload photos to the same folder; rather than texting them to each other or sharing them on social media to later be lost in your feed. Version 2.1 adds a social feed of your friends’ adventures for you to peruse. You can use your friends’ adventures to plan your own future adventures. You can react and comment on your friends’ photos and memories. You still have the option to keep anything you want private or only share with select friends.
Version 3 will add artificial intelligence and augmented reality in separate phases (V3 and V3.1). Artificial intelligence will bring assistance with travel planning and assistance when looking for experiences while on a trip. Augmented reality is a fun and interactive addition to the app. This adds a game to Wander Off where you can compete with others for the highest Wander Score™ This score is based on a special formula of how much you have traveled and the “quality” of the travel you have experienced. In our minds, this is probably the most groundbreaking and fun part of the features that are in development, although we love all the features!
Version 4 adds travel booking features that will help users easily collaborate on booking travel and make finding the right trip easier than it has ever been. There are many other smaller releases in between the ones listed, but we wanted to give you the big picture and vision of what is to come.
